MS-Based Project Management System Implementation

Project title: Dynamics 365 Project Operations + Power Automate + Microsoft Teams: PMIS Implementation

Project description

We need an experienced Microsoft consultant or small team to implement a Project Management Information System (PMIS) for a large multi-plant manufacturing and energy storage construction programme. The entire system will run on three Microsoft tools only:

Dynamics 365 Project Operations as the core system (projects, WBS, schedule, resources, cost and progress tracking)
Power Automate for validation, approvals, alerts, escalations and report distribution
Microsoft Teams as the single front door for site staff, project teams and leadership

The client will purchase and provide all Microsoft licences and tenant access. You are responsible only for implementation, configuration and automation.

How it should work
A site supervisor enters daily progress in Teams (Team Member app or a form in a site channel). Power Automate validates the entry against rules (for example no progress above 100%, daily submission deadline), then routes it for approval through Teams. Once approved, the progress updates the task in Project Operations and rolls up through the WBS to plant and programme level. Power Automate monitors the data and posts alerts to Teams channels when activities are late, critical path float is low or cost limits are crossed, and escalates them to the PM, PMO or Director. Dashboards and the monthly steering committee pack draw on the same data.
