AI Video Editor Android App

I am building an Android-only mobile application that puts intelligent video editing directly in the user’s pocket. The core engine must use on-device AI to:

• Automatically trim raw footage into meaningful segments
• Detect scene changes and tag each scene for quick navigation
• Offer a palette of real-time filters and effects that can be layered before export

A moderately detailed interface is ideal: clean timeline, quick-access buttons for the three smart actions above, and a preview window that updates instantly as the user scrolls through scenes or toggles effects. No crowded menus, yet enough visual cues to feel professional.

Please structure the code in Android Studio (Kotlin or Java) and keep inference on the device with frameworks such as TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch Mobile or a comparable library. OpenCV is welcome for any pre- or post-processing steps.

Deliverables
• Full source code, properly commented, compiling without errors
• Pre-trained models or training pipeline with clear instructions
• Signed APK (debug is fine) plus a brief screen-capture demo that proves trimming, scene tagging and filter application work smoothly on a mid-range device

Acceptance criteria
1. Trimming and scene detection each complete a 60-second 1080p clip in under 10 seconds on a Snapdragon 7-series device.
2. Accuracy: at least 90 % of scene boundaries correctly identified in a provided test set.
3. Filters apply in real time while scrubbing the timeline, with preview FPS ≥24.
