Dissertation Clarity & Coherence Editing

I need an editor for my qualitative dissertation. The research is in the field of education and is in APA 7 format. These are the requirements of the university (American College of Education) for the editing services, which must also be detailed in the contract:

Essential Qualifications:

- Experience with academic editing, particularly dissertations
- Familiarity with APA 7th edition formats and styles
- Understanding of your field's terminology and conventions

Scope of Services:

The Editor agrees to provide comprehensive editing services including:
1. Full compliance review with ACE Dissertation Guide requirements and formatting
2. APA 7th edition style and formatting verification
3. Grammar, punctuation, and spelling review
4. Citation and reference list verification
5. Consistency in style, voice, and terminology
6. Table and figure formatting verification
7. Pagination and heading structure review
8. Electronic delivery of edited manuscript with tracked changes
9. Editing of the full dissertation

Compliance Standards:

All editing will strictly adhere to ACE Dissertation Guide requirements (attached).
 Full compliance with APA 7th edition guidelines for:
o Formatting
o Citations
o References
o Headings
o Tables and figures
o Page layout
- Font and spacing

Terms and Conditions:

1. The editor will maintain client confidentiality.
2. Original document content and intellectual property remain with the client.
3. The editor guarantees compliance with ACE and APA standards.
4. The client is responsible for content accuracy and originality.
5. [Cancellation fee statement should either party wish to terminate the contract at any time]

Timeline and Deliverables:

- Establish dates for multiple rounds of revision and specify what will be delivered at each date.
- Set interim communication dates and modes.
- The editor's contract must specify that editing services in accordance with the ACE Dissertation Guide will be completed by December 8, 2026.
- The editor's invoice must show the date indicating the editing occurred during the current term.
