Ongoing Tally Prime Bookkeeping

All of our accounts live inside Tally Prime and the volume has out-grown the hours I can spare each week. I need someone who can step in and keep every ledger line accurate and up-to-date.

Core work
• Enter every purchase invoice the day it is received.
• Post daily bank statement data and match it to the correct ledgers.
• Reconcile the bank balance with Tally Prime at the end of each week.
• Record all sales entries, ensuring tax codes are applied correctly.
• Prepare and file GST returns on time.
• Produce any supporting Excel spreadsheets I request (usually simple pivot tables or summary sheets for management).

Workflow
I will share source documents—PDF invoices, bank CSV downloads, and sales reports—through a secure cloud folder. You can then remote into Tally Prime or work from the backup file and send it back. A short hand-over call at the start will get you familiar with my chart of accounts and naming conventions.

Acceptance
Entries must agree with the supporting documents, bank reconciliations must clear to zero variance, and GST figures must match Tally Prime’s tax summary before filing. I review the books every Friday, so updates need to land by Thursday night, IST.
