Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) provide secretarial support to the Faculty Secretary;

(b) provide administrative support to academic programmes;

(c) provide secretarial support to committees, working groups and meetings;

(d) compile statistical reports and maintain databases;

(e) assist in organising activities and events;

(f) supervise supporting staff of the Faculty Office; and

(g) perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Dean of Faculty or his delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a) a recognised degree with at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience;

(b) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;

(c) proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing;

(d) good communication, interpersonal and time management skills; and

(e) self-motivation and the ability to work independently and proactively.

Preference may be given to those with solid relevant experience gained in the tertiary education sector.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
